In the Tao there are words said about difficulty
“In the universe the difficult things are done as if they are easy. In the universe great acts are made up of small deeds. The sage does not attempt anything very big, And thus achieves greatness.”
I try and use this wisdom in my everyday life. Just small tiny improvements.
I try and integrate this into my daily goals. If my goal is to write a book I will never even touch a pen. If I try instead to write a couple of words, I can do that no problem.
If I have a huge amount of ambition and want to finish a project on my house, I will find any excuse not to start it. If instead I say I will pick up a tool, I have made some progress.
It also filters unimportant work that you may spend a lot of time on. If you only dedicate a small amount of time and move on, it is easier to have a perspective on the importance of that work.
