There is reading which is important but there is also practice which is also just as important
In Stoic philosophy many of the philosophers espoused different practices. I am trying to figure out what these are.
The ones I have found. Some type of cold practice where you expose yourself to cold in order to get used to it, both Diogenes and Seneca did this. Zeno was fond of basking in the sun. Cato inured himself to poverty by eating and dressing plainly. I believe Antisthenes did this as well. Diogenes would beg in front of a statue to practice being rejected. Most all of them agreed that pain was good pleasure was mostly bad.
All things that can be done in addition to reading.
